1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text values stored by a browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that can retain account and preference information on a device. Tracking parameters are values in a link that help identify how a visitor reached a page.
2. Technologies ScreenGrid uses
Essential and functional storage
- Authentication tokens and basic user details may be stored in local storage so signed-in users can access their dashboard.
- A short-lived first-party cookie may prevent the same page or QR event from being counted repeatedly within a limited period.
- Security and payment providers may use their own essential technologies to prevent fraud and complete transactions.
Campaign and referral parameters
Links may include source, medium, campaign, term, content, or QR parameters. ScreenGrid may record these values with a page event to understand campaign origin and performance.
3. Analytics
If configured, ScreenGrid may use Google Analytics or a comparable analytics provider to understand aggregate website usage, page performance, device information, and conversions. Analytics providers may set or read their own identifiers according to their policies and your browser or consent settings.
ScreenGrid’s QR reporting may count a scan or redirect event, but a scan does not necessarily represent a unique person or completed purchase.
4. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies using browser settings and clear local storage through browser privacy controls. Blocking essential storage may prevent login, dashboard, payment, or preference features from working properly. Browser privacy tools and supported analytics opt-out mechanisms may also limit non-essential measurement.
ScreenGrid will add or update consent controls if required for the technologies and jurisdictions involved.
5. Changes and questions
This policy may be updated when technologies or legal requirements change. Questions can be sent to hello@screengrid.co. For broader information about personal information, see the Privacy Policy.
