ScreenGrid collects, uses, and discloses personal information with consent or as otherwise permitted or required by applicable Canadian law. Consent may be express or implied depending on the sensitivity of the information and the reasonable expectations of the interaction. You may withdraw consent for optional uses, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
5. How information is shared
ScreenGrid does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that support hosting, databases, email, authentication, analytics, mapping, payment processing, file storage, security, or professional advice; with a display host or advertiser where needed to operate an approved campaign; in a business transfer; or where required to comply with law or protect rights and safety.
Service providers may process information in Canada or other countries. Information processed elsewhere may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.
6. Payments
Payments may be processed by providers such as Stripe or PayPal. ScreenGrid generally receives transaction identifiers, status, amount, and limited billing details rather than complete payment-card credentials. Payment providers handle information under their own privacy policies.
7. Retention
Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including active accounts, contractual records, disputes, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and backup cycles. Retention periods vary by record type. Information that is no longer required is deleted, anonymized, or securely isolated where deletion is not immediately practical.
8. Safeguards
ScreenGrid uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No internet or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Users must protect their credentials and report suspected unauthorized access.
9. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of personal information, withdraw optional consent, unsubscribe from marketing, request account deletion, or ask questions about ScreenGrid’s privacy practices. ScreenGrid may verify identity before responding and may retain information where legally required.
10. Children and minors
ScreenGrid’s paid commercial services are intended for adults and authorized business representatives. ScreenGrid does not knowingly seek commercial-account information from children. A minor should not enter a paid campaign, host, or commission agreement without an authorized parent, guardian, or adult representative.
11. External links
The website and QR campaigns may link to third-party pages. ScreenGrid is not responsible for third-party privacy practices. Review the destination’s policy before providing information.
12. Changes and contact
ScreenGrid may update this policy and will post the revised date. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@screengrid.co with “Privacy Request” in the subject line, or through the contact page.
